Onedrive Fixes

This tool is for people who want OneDrive removed from a Windows user profile, especially when OneDrive has taken over folders such as Desktop, Documents, Pictures, Music, Videos, or Downloads.

What It Does

• Backs up the affected registry keys to this folder.
• Moves Windows known folders out of OneDrive and back to the normal user profile folders.
• Moves any other remaining OneDrive contents into a dated Saved From OneDrive folder.
• Removes OneDrive startup entries.
• Disables OneDrive sync policy.
• Hides OneDrive from Explorer where possible.
• Removes OneDrive scheduled tasks where possible.
• Runs the normal OneDrive uninstallers.
• Deletes the leftover OneDrive folder only after its contents have been moved.
• Restarts Explorer so the folder changes take effect.

How To Use

Right-click this file and choose Run as administrator:

Onedrive Fixes.cmd

The script writes .reg backups and a .log file beside itself in this folder.

After Running

Reboot the computer. Then check that your folders are back under your normal user profile, for example:

C:\Users\YourName\Desktop
C:\Users\YourName\Documents
C:\Users\YourName\Music

If OneDrive contained extra folders that were not standard Windows folders, they should be in a folder named like this:

C:\Users\YourName\Saved From OneDrive 20260623-120000
